I love getting stuff in the mail. That’s probably why my husband says I have a problem with online shopping.
I think that’s just his opinion.
In January this year, I was selected to receive a #CheersVoxBox from the Influenster team loaded with goodies for me to try/review. I received it in no time at all and have finally gotten around to opening it up and start trying some of the contents.
Happy New Year, Gorgeous. Who doesn’t want to be greeted like that by a new package?
Inside the box was:
Not a lot of contents for this sized box, but for something free for my opinion I can’t complain. Here’s my initial thoughts:
Suave Sea Mineral Infusion Shampoo: I’ve actually used this brand of Suave several times, just not this particular selection (I believe I’ve used the Moroccan oil one). Usually I’m not a fan of most shampoo and conditioners you use from the drug store since they can leave build up and make my hair feel coarse. However I was pleasantly surprised with this little bottle! My hair had a nice sheen and was soft the entire day which I hadn’t expected. I’ll use the rest of this bottle and see how my hair holds up and update y’all.
Way Better Snacks – Chips so Sweet Chili: I’m a salty snack person, so when I saw there was tortilla chips in the box I was excited. Sometimes “healthy” chips (quotes because there’s no such thing as a healthy chip) taste terrible and I was worried when I opened the bag and noticed it looked similar to other healthy brands. But once I tried it, I immediately retracted my previous thoughts! The chip has a spicy sweet chipolte flavor that’s great on its own or would probably be fantastic with some dip. All in all, I’ll probably end up buying a bag for my husband and I.
Dr Teals Pure Epsom Salts: I’m not a bath person usually – showers are so much more convenient and I just don’t have the time. But after having an incredibly long day last week, I decided I needed to take 30 minutes after work and unwind. Well, 30 minutes turned to 45 without a second thought. The smell of these salts are ah-mazing (lavender is my favorite!) and afterwards, my daily aches and pains from sitting at my desk weren’t a problem anymore. I plan on remembering to do this once a week (hopefully)!
Overall, I was very pleased with the selections. I’m always open to trying new products – let me know what some of yours are below!
